Big names in business, politics, and industry take to the fairways at Clark Sun Valley Golf Club for the OKBet VIP Club Invitational Golf Tournament.
Organized by OKBet and OKBet VIP Club, two high-fliers in the country’s gaming industry, the tournament drew local bigwigs, including former Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Juan Miguel ‘Mikee’ Arroyo, Rep. Miguel Luis ‘Migz’ Villafuerte of Camarines Sur (fifth from left); Councilor Edgardo ‘Edu’ Pamintuan of Pampanga, Gov. Mark Leviste of Batangas, Gov. Luigi Villafuerte of Camarines Sur, Rep. LRay Villafuerte of Camarines Sur (sixth from left), Rep. AA Legarda of Antique, Rep. Michael Dy of Isabela and Rep. Eric Pineda, among others. OKBet VIP Club operates gaming facilities in PAGCOR-licensed casinos such as City of Dreams Manila, Okada Manila, Resorts World Manila and Hann Casino Resort, and also offers sports entertainment options as a homegrown platform banking with over 10,000 events covered across various sports.
OKBet is the major sponsor of the country’s regional basketball league, the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. In June, the company also kicked-off its corporate social responsibility campaign by supporting local artists at the famously ‘Instagrammable’ Taguig Tenement basketball court.

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.
In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
